The Taurinorum Travel Team is composed by three adventurers from Turin, with a great passion for travel, photography and nature. It is the team created by Taurinorum Club (http://www.taurinorumclub.com) to explore the world with the aim of uniting great adventurous projects with noble humanitarian and journalistic missions. The “Adventurists Africa Rally 2009 from London to Cameroon” has been the first expedition that the team has made; a 1987 Fiat Panda 4×4 999 cc is the vehicle that brought it to the final destination, after 40 days of travel, 23 of them of driving. The whole event has collected more than 60,000 pounds (about 70,000 euro) fully devolved to humanitarian projects in Cameroon (Send a Cow, The Ape Africa Action, The Rainforest Foundation UK, Limbe Wildlife Center, and Global Music Exchange). It has been a journey of more than 9,000 kms across the entire West Africa, on hard dirt tracks; the Dogon Country in Mali, the National Park W in Burkina Faso, Waza Region in the extreme north of Cameroon, near Lake Chad and the entrance in central Nigeria from Benin are just some of the places explored by the Taurinorum Travel Team in which the four-wheel drive were truly indispensable. The brave italian team arrived at the lavic coast of Limbe in Cameroon, final destination of the expedition, demonstrating that there are still countless possible adventures in our times.
